Voting open for next Cards under the Stars movie night

The second Cards under the Stars summer family movie night will be Friday, July 16, and UofL wants you to help pick the film. June 18, 2010

More than 400 people came to Belknap Campus June 11 for the first Cards under the Stars outdoor family movie, which featured the Disney/Pixar film Toy Story.

The second film also will be an animated classic. UofL faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends are asked to pick the one they want to see from among these films:

  • Finding Nemo
  • A Bug's Life
  • Monsters, Inc.
  • Up!

VOTE HERE through noon, Friday, June 25.

The July event will be similar to the first family movie night, which featured inflatable rides, musical entertainment, activities and contests, concessions and, of course, the movie. (June 11 photo gallery and video coverage)

Family movie nights are designed to thank UofL faculty and staff for their commitment to the university and to introduce — or reintroduce — alumni, students and community members to campus.
