Hite summer exhibits focus on state art, artist Jim Snodgrass

The University of Louisville Hite Art Institute has opened two summer exhibits at its Schneider Hall galleries. “Jim Snodgrass: A Creative Life” is a retrospective of the career of locally born painter and sculptor Jim Snodgrass. “Art of the State” is an examination of government-sanctioned artwork.

Eight Fulbright recipients lead UofL top scholars

The University of Louisville announced June 7 that eight scholars have won the prestigious Fulbright award and an additional 17 have earned prominent scholarships that include the Barry M. Goldwater, Boren and Critical Language scholarships.
