Coming on Strong! Florida assistant to head football program
The University of Louisville has hired one of the nation's most respected defensive coaches to head the Cardinal football program. December 9, 2009Charlie Strong, defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at the University of Florida, was introduced as the Cardinals' new head coach at a press conference today at 4 p.m.
A Florida coach since 2002, Strong has overseen the nation's top defense two of the past four years. He was a finalist for the 2009 Broyles Award, which recognizes the top assistant coach in the nation. More information
